Today is Black Friday — the biggest shopping day of the year. It’s the time when people take advantage of sales, knocking over one another to grab the perfect gifts for loved ones.
So why am I sitting here writing this post? Well, it’s because I’m content to just be.
I actually cannot stand to shop, and I like crowds even less. Why torture myself when I can be sitting home working on this:

You saw the empty cake plate the night before Thanksgiving. Well, I surprised my brother-in-law and made another one yesterday. There’s still a little left (the pictures above and below was what it looked like when I placed it on the table for Thanksgiving dinner).
