Farewell Spring Break 2011

I have to say that I have enjoyed my Spring Break this year.

Once I got that big bad test out of the way, I felt a little freer, although not completely.

Lesson plans still weighed heavily on my mind, as did my EPI classes.

Still, I managed to carve time out of my days at home to sit outside and enjoy the splendid weather…

I did not want to be a complete slug, however. So, on Saturday, I took my lesson plans outside…

I’m ready…for the next couple of weeks, anyhow.

I’m hoping that the next nine weeks will fly by so I can focus on just my certification classes and get that BIG monkey off of my back.

Regardless, I’ll always remember my first Spring Break as a teacher.

I sure could use another week, but I don’t think I’m going to get it! This week went by waaay too fast, but we only have 9 more weeks ’til summer break!

Glad you had a good week soaking up the sun. We had warmth here too last week, but we have S-N-O-W in the forecast for today and later in the week. I ‘m in denial 😉

Ahh – the 2nd best thing about being a teacher – SPRING BREAK!!! The first best thing is SUMMER BREAK! 😉

I remember very well when I worked in the public schools how much I looked forward to having a break, whether it was for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or summer…I welcomed it! So glad you got to enjoy your much-needed break…and got some things accomplished, too!
