Hmmm…maybe this will be a new weekly thing? I liked the questions from Linda’s blog again, so here we go!
1. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being a cranky-baby-hissy-fitter, how much of a complainer are you?
I’d say a 5, although my family would probably give me a 10. Heck…if they put away their stuff after using it, maybe I wouldn’t need to complain so much! Ok…let’s go with a 7 to make everyone happy.
2. When someone else is talking, do you listen, or are you thinking about what you’re going to say in response?
Ouch…I’m usually thinking about what I’m going to say. I’ve really been trying to work on this, though. I’ve found that if I wait and really listen, I forget what I was going to say! Must not have been all that important, eh?
3. I just deleted 1062 messages from my email account. Do you have any plans for a clean sweep this month–of anything?
Nope. Just the daily sweeping of dog hair!
4. Tell us about your perfume. Was it a gift? What does it remind you of? Do you have a signature scent?
I don’t wear perfume. I do sometimes wear body spray I picked up at one of those teeny bopper clothing stores. I don’t think it was on sale, but I can forgive myself for this as it was before my days of bargain hunting.
5. What is your best organizing tip for the new year?
Don’t buy anything new! Then you won’t have anything to organize.
6. What is your favorite comic strip?
Family Circus
7. Do you sleep with a fluffy or flat pillow?
Flat. I cannot stand sleeping with my head up in the air.
8. What color is your kitchen? Why did you choose that color?
Blue counter tops, oak cabinets, and a light brownish paint. The builder, cabinet guys, and the Mr. questioned my taste when I picked out the blue, but when everything was installed, it looked really good! I kind of wish the walls were painted yellow to brighten things up a bit.
9. What’s the most interesting bumper sticker you’ve seen?
Is that your head, or did you neck just throw up?
10. Do you prefer an expensive writing tool or whatever is lying around? (Are you a Montblanc or a Papermate?)
A decent ballpoint pen works for me!
11. What chore doesn’t feel like a chore – you just enjoy it (at least most of the time)?
Hanging clothes on the line. It’s strangely peaceful, and the clothes smell sooooo good as I’m hanging them up (thanks to my recent discovery of liquid fabric softener).
12. If your parents often repeated themselves, what is something one of them said more than once?
