  1. The Booga Bag is looking great!! One question… do you follow the pattern exactly? Thanks!!

    • Hi Kelly! Yes, I do follow the pattern exactly as it is written. I just try to match the striping when I change skeins, and I’ve recently discovered that adding grommets to the bag before inserting the handles adds longevity to the bags (I’ll be blogging about a repair I did).

      • Thanks so much!! I just got finished reading about the grommets… any tips on matching the stripes and does it take all 3 skeins of yarn?

        • Matching the striping isn’t an exact science. What I did for my most recent bags was to wind up all three skeins into one large one. As one skein was ending, I noted the last color and pulled from the new skein, cut it to the point where I wanted to match them up, knotted them, and continued winding. I did the same thing for the third skein. The project doesn’t take a full three skeins, but you definitely dip into it. I think I might have had about 1/4 of the skein left after making the i-cord.
