More Than a Ball of Yarn

I am subscribed to the True Woman ’08 blog.  If you’ve never visited, I encourage you to do so.  It is dedicated to educating women about their proper, Biblical roles as wives, mothers, and daughters of the King.

Today’s post really hit home with me.  If you’re into fiber arts, you’ll especially appreciate it.  Even if you’re not, please go read it.  You won’t be disappointed.

  1. Dear Nathalie,

I’ve been silent a few months because my harddrive died and I had to replace it. . . so doing I lost my list of favored blogs. Tonight as I read my daily True Woman website post I see your comment and rejoiced as I’d ‘found’ you again! God provided me with reconnecting with you. Hooray!

I appreciated your post. I, too, have been involved in prayer shawl ministry. I started it at our church 5+ years ago, had to learn to knit so I could teach others. I already knew how to crochet. It was a good 3 years and then I passed the baton to others as I wanted to spend time knitting things for our first grandbaby-to-be.

    Love to you!
    Denise
