Twenty-three years ago, the Mr. and I made our way to the hospital. Rooster had decided that he was ready to make his appearance.
His was an arrival that was much anticipated.
Even Chicky was excited!
He was a cutie patootie from the start and knew exactly which team to root for . . .
He has grown to be quite the young man . . . full of love for his family, which now includes his sweet bride of a year . . . love for the fur babies that are naturally drawn to him . . . and love for his country.
He is tender-hearted, loyal, and determined to forge his own path . . . traits I very much admire.
I thank the Lord for allowing me the honor of being this sweet boy’s Mama.
Happy Birthday, Rooster. I pray that you feel the love that reaches out to you daily but even more today on your special day.
