Since I’ve been on the topic of teaching, I thought I’d share a funny comment that one of my students made yesterday.
He saw me in the hall, and he asked, “Mrs. AuburnChick, why haven’t you been wearing your high heels?”
I responded by saying, “Well, my foot is still pretty bruised up from where the football players threw Blow Pops during the homecoming parade, so I haven’t been able to wear them.”
To which he said, “Well, I’m really tired of you being sassy WITHOUT wearing the heels.”
I think it’s safe to say that I got a good laugh out of that comment!
By the way, I saw the following tape dispenser at Office Depot yesterday…
I really must get this…if only to annoy my students further! 😀
