Today, Chicky had her senior portraits taken.
Gosh, but it seems like only a short time ago when it was me getting those pictures made.
I mean, how is it that 21 years have flown by?
I remember putting on that drape thingy and turning this way and that, hoping for a decent picture.

This is not me, by the way...
Ahhh…one more milestone in what is certain to be a memorable year.

Oh yes, I remember that dreadful drape. It was required for yearbook photos; the guys were required to wear suit and tie. That was, ummm, 40 years ago. Can I really be that old?
Now, the portraits are pretty casual, sometimes too casual, in my opinion.
You’re not old, Nancy!
The rule at our high school is that if you don’t do the sitting for this portrait (guys wear the tux jacket provided by the photographer), you don’t get your picture in that section. The casual pictures are made strictly for the parents to buy, not for the yearbook. We were fortunate because one of Chicky’s friends took her casual pictures.
